(Querist) 21 July 2013 This query is : Resolved
My wife has filled a false 498a complaint case in court. After cognigence case is in evidence stage and she has to come for giving statement. But she is now not comming for hearings. I want to get the proceddings over quickly. What are the options infront of me to make her attend dates. Can I request in high court to direct her to attend dates.

Eariler 498a is already falsed by police so i am 100 percent sure that i can nail her lie in incourt. Now she is just dragging the case.

Ask the court to issue W/A.

You need not go High Court for that.
You can press before trial court it self to let her come by warrants or should press for a close of evidence.

there is a limit to how much case can be dragged . draw the attention of the court to her repeated absence

Court can acquit the accused if Complainant do not appear. Ask your Advocate to apply to acquit you. for want of prosecution.
