Part time or distance education for criminal law course

I am an Engineering graduate from tamilnadu working in a software company. Am interested to study Law course distance education or part time course. So i want to know which course and university i'll prefer study for criminal Law course.

Many universities are offering correspondence law course. But, by completing a correspondence law course, you can not register yourself as an advocate. But, that certificate may be useful for your career growth within the company.

some years back there was a directive from the SC that no bona fide university shall conduct correspondence courses in Law leading to LLB degree.
You may vrify this from your local University / Law College

You can search for a suitable university or an institution conducting law degree course through distant learning or correspondence from internet search.
As observed by experts above, it may not entitle you to get enrolled as a lawyer with Bar council of India.
