I am a partner in a partnership firm.there are 17 employees works in my shop,. I Wants to Know That Payment of Gratuity Act Applied or not on my Firm.if Yes what is the requrement related for this

yes, it applicable. no formal requirement is required except to comply the provisions while terminating the services of your employees.

i agree with Kirti. Is is applicable. Payment of Gratuity Act is social welfare legislation. it main object of act is provide social security to the employees.

Payment of Gratuity Act applicable in all establishments where 10 or more persons employed or were employed in preceding 12 months. ( Sec. 2 (c) & (d) of the Act.
