Pending dues of ex member in chsl

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 20 August 2018 This query is : Resolved
1. Flat No. 30-31 in our New Milind CHSL, Bhagat Lane, Mahim, Mumbai-400016 had been purchased by the current owner in 2010.
2. Previous Managing Committee gave the current owner NOC to purchase the said flat from the ex owner.
3. In the Society's balance sheet of the year 2013-14, dues of Rs. 12,508/- were reflected against the said flat.
4. Current working Managing committee informed the current flat owner to pay the said dues. but current owner is refusing to pay the same saying that he had already obtained NOC of the Society which states :
"no pending dues..." hence whatever dues are reflecting belongs to the previous owner so, current owner is not abide to pay the same.

Kindly advise what do we do in such case.

Please explain when the NOC was given to the current owner and he had purchased the flat in the year 2010, and the arrears relate to the year 2013-14, it is the liability of the current owner, how can the previous owner be held responsible as the flat was sold in 2010 and he had already given possession in 2010.?
