Permissible time limit to take possession of the flat from builder in gurgaon haryana.

My brother is member of a housing society in Gurgaon Haryana. The builder has given allotment of flat to members and several members have taken possession also despite the fact that the builder has yet to pay some dues to Huda and take final completion certificate. My brother due to some reasons has not taken the possession. Is there any time limit for taking possession of the flat from builder? Kindly guide.

You will have to look into the clauses of agreement.

Though no time limit is there, ordinary prudence demands to take possession without wasting a single day.
His non payment of charges to HUDA has no connection with possession of flat.
