please advice what banks can do
If you do not repay your personal loan(mostly half of the emi's paid) and leave the country india

Bank will issue you notice for repament of your loan due amount with intersest. therafter if you will not make payment then bank will file recovery suit/application.

While granting personal loan, the bank certainly would have taken to mortgage your immovable property or any other assets.

If you leave india and do not make payment, the bank will realise its proceeds by selling your property or assets.
