What is PIL?
What is the procedure to file it, is it can be online?
If result is negative then is there any penalty or something else?
IF result positive then what.

Specially I want to file a PIL against a TV adverstisment on the subject women's respect/honour.

PIL is Public Interest Litigation.

It cannot be filed online in many HCs.

The result is immaterial provided ulterior motive is not established.

Before filing PIL against TVC u'll hv to approach the appropriate authority & lodge complaint. If it refuses to act only then u can file PIL.
