(Querist) 04 May 2013 This query is : Resolved
My son is a citizen of Singapore(OCI).I live in Chennai. He has given a POA in my favour. This was notarised and sealed by Indian High Commission,Singapore.I understand that I have to adjudicate it in a Sub-Registrar office here. Please advise me whether I should be present in person at the Sub-Registrar office and if so what are the documents i should carry.
I will soon be settling in Bangalore and need to use this POA in Bangalore for construction purposes. Can a POA adjudicated by Registrar office, chennai be used in Bangalore.
The POA will be used only for sighning letters seeking approval for power, water connections and other statutory bodies. My son was present at Bangalore for the registration. for sighning letters only should this be adjudicated only at Bangalore.
