We are tenants from Mumbai City where Maharashtra Rent Control Act, 1999 applies.
Our landlord is not accepting rent since four years for making an eviction case against us. However we have been sending rent cheques through India Post Registered AD more than thrice. Landlord have sent us notice of arrears of rent with a clause of vacating the premises if not paid within 90 days.
Now we want to pay rent in Mumbai court. Which court in Mumbai shall we move? What are the required documents and correspondence need to be done?

Sorry to put up this again. However that link would have become too lengthy.
