sir
i take permission of water & sewer connection from DDA for my newly built house. then i make connection and install meter through plumber. due to my some family problem i was not shift in this house that time. my house was vacant and lock for a year so no water meter reading. so after one year i received a accumulated bill of rs. 18000 on average basis.
then i contact to DDA official for correcting bill but they denied . but one person suddenly come and tell me. he will take 50% of bill amount and my electricity bill of nil consumption. so my bill will become of rs just 600( nominal rent).
but i refuse his offer. i thought my problem will solve by complaint to higher authority but nothing happen.
now i am thinking for consumer court.
i have proof in support of my case are
(1) ,my electricity bill of nil consumption.
(2)reading show in water meter is just 4 unit.
(3) meter reader has confirmed my neighbor that no one was living in my house.
please let me know the possibility of wining and anything else valuable suggestion are welcome.

For water related issues at Delhi, it is Delhi Jal Board and not DDA.

when new plot is alloted by dda in delhi. then water related all matters are handled by dda for few year. and after some development in new area dda transfer all water related work to delhi jal board.
currently here is news that water related management will be transfer to delhi jal board in few month.

i have send notice to dda and they give me reply that it is a matter of record. average bill is sending without reading.
but they donot mention anything about electricity bill in their reply. so they refuse.
now before move to court i want to know on the basis of given evidence my case is strong enough or not.

you seem to have been charged rs 1500 per month for water consumption . it is your case that that you have not resided in said premises for one year as is evident from your electricity bill .
you seem to be having a good case . move consumer forum . contact Mr anirudh he is from delhi and can advise you in this regard . you cna get cpomplaint drfated by lawyer
