Property purchased jointly.

(Querist) 11 August 2011 This query is : Resolved 
Husband & Wife had purchased property jointly. the fisrt name in agreement is of wife & second name of Husband. The Payment is shown from Wife name & Payment amount of Husband is shown in books as Loan to Wife. What if wife dies wether Husband can have rights on the property?

1)well if property is purchased jointly both are coowners of property .
2) in case of death of one co owner property will devolve on his /her legal heirs.
3)have will made wherein on death of one of co owner property will be inherited by other co owner .

but Society is issuing maintainance bill on first name & issue share certificate on first name. Wether it is legally right?
