Property with missing sale deed - will i get bank loan for this?

The original sale deed is lost for the property that I am intending to buy, but the owner has followed the process to get a certified copy of the same.Now will i be able to get loan from bank to purchase this property? . This property is in west chennai. Please advice . Thank you

You can get bank loan on duplicate / certified copy of the sale deed. But you must ensure yourself by searching the land records that the seller is the real owner. The bank also will take such process before releasing the loan.
