If anyone gets acquitted on the basis of out of court settlement in a compoundable case,then has he been prosecuted or not.
What to write in the govt job verification form---Prosecuted? Yes or No?

I was accused of 323,341 and 34 IPC but later acquitted by negotiating with the complainant and the complainant withdrew the case.Now my query is if I am prosecuted or not?
Because the prosecution process was not complete.
If I am prosecuted then will it hamper my elligibilty for govt. Job like banks or upsc?

323 & 341 are compoundable offenses. if settlement is arrived at no prosecution will take place. consult an advocate for completing legal formalities

Dear Sir,a summon was issued to me to appear before the court and a summon was also issued to the witness of the complainant.But ,in the meanwhile the complainant compromised the case in the court and I was acquitted.Now,my question is whether I am prosecuted or not?
