I would like to know what is the punishment entitled to husband who refuse to make his wife pregnant due to incompatible relation between husband and wife.

The duty of spouses is to consummate marriage physically, mentally and emotionally .
Refusal of begetting or refusal to conceive
is not a crime under IPC but it may amount
to cruelty in a prolonged denial unless it is due to any medical incapacity.

1. I do not know whether one should take this info-query seriously or laugh at it.
2. Having sex is a spouse's right and duty.
3."Making wife pregnant" is not within the power of the hubby. You can only appeal to Divinity!!
4.If, because of incompatibility, the hubby refuses to have sex, the wife can seek divorce, as hinted by Mr Singh.
5 Incompatibility is quite different from incapacity to consummate. Here again, the wife can seek divorce. Incapacity to impregnate because of azoospermia etc is not a ground for divorce. Nor is wife's infertility.

Dear Expert, apologies for presenting case which is currently live in my life.
due to indifferences i fail to connect with my wife emotionally. Although i try to fulfill all request of my wife but somehow the love connection is not building up. In current scenario my wife has given me 2 option,
1) divorce
2)have baby live life happily.
what is the guarantee that my wife will not divorce me after having baby.
she had also commented that if she get divorce before baby than she will get apartment from me and if she does after babe she will definitely get it
Having myself in such a condition i feel that after baby my wife will put one more condition
1) divorce
2) give me your apartment.
At the end of day i feel i am a football. when i asked her if we can take the mutual consent divorce , she denied it. with this what i infer is that she want me to put request for divorce and once i put that case than i am sure all expert will know what i and my family will go through.
due to all these issues, i fail to concentrate at work and future growth. from 7 am to 11 pm. the thoughts of marriage life is floating in my mind, giving no time to think about future or career growth.
due to this, it makes me seek information about law to educate myself what problem i will go threw.

- No guarantee. Divorce is not associated with having baby.
she had also commented that if she get divorce before marriage than she will get apartment from me and if she does after marriage she will definitely get it
- No divorce can be given before / without marriage.
Having myself in such a condition i feel that after baby my wife will put one more condition
- Wife may put thousands of conditions / demands in divorce proceedings,in court matter is decided on merits.
due to all these issues, i fail to concentrate at work and future growth.
- You should consult some counselor.
it makes me seek information about law to educate myself what problem i will go threw.
- Search net and LCI for information related to marriage and you want.

Thanks for comment.well certainly i must search for good counselor and consult.
from the mistake of query in my description i can make out how this issue has hijacked me.
I have corrected one statement which i corrected as
