Hello sir...
Is there a different OBC certificate of central government??
I have an OBC NCL certificate issued by Punjab government. In it it is written Punjab government instead of government of India.
But the caste written in it is in the central list of OBC issued by central government.
Is it valid at centre level??
Any reply would be appreciated.

Dear queriest, yes. a OBC-ncl certificate will be issued to the people who are under central OBC list and whose income is under six (6) lakhs for the purpose of reservation for jobs and educational institutions.

OBC list is of two types
one recognised and promulgated by central govt entitling one for reservatyion in central as well as state govt jobs.
second recognised and promulgated by state govt entitling someone for reservation in state govt jobs (issuing state) only
