Rectification of my sale deed

(Querist) 26 December 2008 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sir/ Madam,

I have purchased a plot from the BMRDA approved layout. My plot comes in the two survey no whereas in the sale deed they have mentioned only one survey no only ( each survey no is belongs to two different land oweners my land developer has taken GPA one is registered other one is notary GPA) and month is mentioned as "Ovember "instead of "November ".

When we checked with subregister office they said i have pay full stam duty one again for this rectification.

Kindly advise me on this..

Thansk & Regards

Dear Mr.Dass
The power of attorney in general if registered gives clear title and ensure that the survey number which is not mentioned in the sale deed is reflected in the encumbrance certificates. it is not necessary that u should pay the entire stamp duty for rectification. Consult your legal consultant with entire documents before going for rectification
