You both can marry according to civil marriage procedure under the Special Marriage Act, 1954. You both have to give notice for marriage to the Marriage Officer of your district where either of you have been living for more than one month on the date of giving notice. After one month of notice period your marriage is solemnised by the Marriage Officer in presence of only 3 witnesses known to you , can be your friends or relatives and marriage is registered, marriage certificate under SMA issued to you. There cannot be any objections raised with regard to your religion, caste, creed by anyone. Only valid objection can be that either of you is already married having a spouse or not of fit mental status or age to give consent of marriage. But these are not existing in your case. You both contact district office for the marriage as the Marriage Officer is official of District administration.

Yes. I agree with the advise of expert Mr. Vijay Raj Mahajan ji. go to DR office/registration office and give notice for Spl. marriage. After lapse of one month (30 days) the marriage will be solmnized if no objections received.
