Subject : In case of Rejection of Degree by IGNOU, degree from Sikkim Manipal University through distace education mode.
Respected,
Puran Chand, I obtained degree from the Sikkim Manipal University through distance education mode at Jalandhar Study center which was authorized by University, session Nov-2011 to Nov-2014, Now want to continue my study with IGNOU. M.com after B.com, but ignou reject my application from as "OFF CAMPUS".
An e-mail sent to ssc@ignou.ac.in they replies as:
student service centre Jan 15 (2 days ago) to me
Dear student.
Private Universities cannot establish off campus centre(s) beyond the territorial jurisdiction of the concerned State. However, they can establish off-campus centre(s) within the concerned State after their existence of five years and with the prior approval of the University Grants Commission. So far, UGC has not approved any off campus centre(s) of any Private University.

Note: please read this, in short, this below is a e-mail which was sent by me to ICAI-DELHI about the confirmation of the degree through distance mode is valid or not, actually then the NO STRONG REASON SHARE WITH ME AS "OFFCAMPUS", type of problem will be faced by me, now i am very upset, please help me out
In case of Direct Admission to CA-CPT, Can Sikkim Manipal University is Liable/Vaild univeristy to Get Direct Admission CA-IPCC.

nro0274049, I inquired previous date as on or before 16 Aug 2012, But
you told me as the university list is being issued as on 16 Aug 2012
Degree of which are Valid ( other notification is pending and
notifying as on 16 Aug 2012), I unable to find the right and Please
tell me about the Degree of BCOM (55%) university is Sikkim Manipal
University- Distance Education is valid for Direct Admission.

please help me to give right information.

Since, Sikkim Manipal University is recognised by UGC & DEC, you can register for the CA Course under Direct Entry Scheme by fulfilling the prescribed percentage criteria.
