Hi all,

Release deed is not compulsory to be register in case of blood relation.It is to be prepared on 100rs stamp paper and it is advisable to prepare supporting undertaking on 100rs stamp paper. but it is to be signed before Notary officer with register entry no.
Please Comment on this in Detail.Is it correct???

Release ,relinquishment or QUIT deed ,by what ever name you call,it's registration is compulsory if it relates to immovable property and stamp duty would be payable as per provisions contained in the stamp Act of the State in which the property situate.

agree with prbhakar singhji . registration of relinquishment deed is compulsory . notarising wont be sufficent . if not regd in admissible in evidence
