Review of Papers

(Querist) 07 November 2009 This query is : Resolved
It happened to a DOEACC A-Level student. According to the rules of DOEACC, a candidate can only apply for re-totaling of marks if he is not satisfied. The application must reach to DOEACC office before one month from the printing of the result. The fee for re totaling is Rs 200.00

for info about DOEACC
http://www.doeacc.edu.in/test.htm

Problem is that, the result was printed on 7-Oct-09 but posted (P .O stamp) on 26-Oct-09. When the student received the result sheet, it is impossible to send the application in time.

Question:-
1. The printing, despatch of result are in hand of DOEACC, then why the student will suffer?

2. Why they dont allow revaluation?

3. I clearly say, I have doubt whether they really looks the papers or not.

4. How DOEACC is so sure that they can make no mistake in valuation? When they agree that they can make mistake in just adding the marks.

5. If I want a photocopy of the evaluated papers then what is the way?

6. How can I challenge DOEACC about false-valuation of any paper?

1. The word printing clearly appears in the rules so the same should be interpreted accordingly. No word found mentioned as received/conveyed to the students so there is no option but to suffer.

2. If revaluation is beyond rules so no question can be raised. Rules are part of their brouchure which has duly been accepted by students prior to their admission so no chance to agitate any prevalent rule at this stage.

3. Doubt cannot become law and has no legal sanctity attached with such doubt.

4. No comments.

5. First obtain evidence of false valuation and then seek remedy through civil court.
