I have filed a rti application seeking some information and documents which pertain to corruption in my department. But cpio after lapsed of 02 months intimated me that rti for being sort of complaint enquiry is being done. but no assurance was given to me that when information would be provided to me. Now another 2 months has expired. Under this circumstance can I file first appeal.

You could have sent your appeal to the first appellate authority. Any reason for not filing appeal with the appellate authority even after 2 months of not receiving the info/ documents?
