Sanad for practice law

I have passed 3-Year LL.B. Course from Pune University in 1998. I am retired person. What is the procedure to get Sanad and start practice now? Is it necessary to appear for any exam now? Pl. guide.

Dear Mr. Punde,
The Bar Council Examination is meant only for those who have passed LL.B. from 2009-10 academic year. It is not applicable for those passed out in earlier academic years.
As regards enrolment with the Bar Council, you have to go to the District Court in Pune, meet some practising Advocates there. They will guide you. You have to check up whether it is possible to submit the enrolment form at Pune itself i.e. whether Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa, has any branch office at Pune.
