Seeking clarity on construction agreement

Respected Sir / Madam,
Could you please let me know whether sanctioned plan approval number for an apartment under municipal limits in chennai needs to be definitely mentioned in the construction agreement or is it optional? Currently, construction agreement draft version states that the builder would get approval from the competent authority/ies but it doesn't specify the approval reference number. Would it be fine to exclude the number? Request all to throw light on this. Thank you.

Despite the fact mentioning of details of plan approved by Chennai Municipal Corporation or Chennai Development Authority (as the case may be) are optional even then it is always better to mention complete information since the same would be handy/available as and when required at a later stage/dispute.
