Signatures denied by a party on the document

(Querist) 05 January 2015 This query is : Resolved
In a suit before the court, one of the party denies his signatures on the document, whereas the party has actually signed. Signatures has not been sent for any SFL test. Will the statement of denying party will be accepted by the court?

Dear Mr.Somani,
There are two legal probabilities before the adjudicating officer being either ask the person to sign in his presence or direct him to produce other document where he has signed and compare the same or in the alternate he can seek the help of the handwriting expert the same is substantiated by Evidence Act.
Hope this clarifies

Thanks and regards
