1. I wanted to know why the above referred form which is available at many stationery shops in city of Mumbai is just published in "SINGULAR" that is : I shri/shrimati so and so etc.. and not as : I/We -------------- am/are the members of so and so CHS etc... as majority of the flats in Mumbai are invariably held in Joint names. I am seeing this format for the last atleast 40 Years. Why the Co-operative Department is not looking in such matters.???
2. When there are say 2 Nominees mentioned for a flat, the matter at Sr.No.5 of this form says that the "Property should be transferred to ______________( The first named Nominee on his/her complying etc.... So even if there are two nominees, the property will be transferred in One Name (First Nominee) only and not in Joint Names(That of both the Nominees). Assuming there are no other legal heirs, can the Society transfer the property in names of both the Nominees or only in favour of first nominee only. Please clarify.

As per CHS Bye-laws the person whose name stands first in the Society share certificate has the right to nominate, hence " I, Shri/Shrimati".

You may or may not be benefited by the above advices, but Mr. Kumar Doab, a fake expert, has definitely taken the benefit of your query to make a vague & irrelevant post without any specific advice to add scores to his credit. There is NO FEE to ask query at LCI…………..
There is NO need to make any phone calls …………
Alongwith elders of your family, competent and experienced well wishers visit LOCAL counsel as already advised……….
Such counsels of such qualities as already posted above do not charge any FEE for such queries…….
The FEE for consultation in complicated matters is also reasonable………..almost negligible..
And you can always approach LOCAL counsels,….at your location..

You can observe very well that this fellow, Mr. Kumar Doab, a fake exper, has not only made exposure of his unsound mind with four more very vague and irrelevant posts, but also has proved that he is least interested to provide you any different solution than the other two experts, except to add as many as more scores to his credit by making multiple posts. You will be justified to ask him, if he can any provide any more useful solution to your query. Even in response, you will be able to observe that he would come forward with some more vague posts, the product of his unsound mind.
