Dear Experts,
As per the ACT captioned in subject line there are many laws and amendment that are repealed.
Now the most concerning of the lot for husband harassed by Wife and In-laws are CrPC Sec41 which has been repealed are below
2009 5 The Code of Criminal Procedure (Amendment) Act, 2008 The whole
2010 41 The Code of Criminal Procedure (Amendment) Act, 2010 The whole.
As per what I understand (from Gujarat Samachar newspaper)that is the above mentioned laws has been repealed and means that, Now a punishment even less than 7 year a person can be arrested at anytime by the police and there is no need to follow and rules of CrPC41/41a by the arresting officer.
Request the experts to please clarify the above, cuz the only hope for the harassed husbands for not getting arrested and being saved from being labeled as "KAIDI" in #FakeCases of Dowry and DV was that CrPC 41/41a.
