Till howm many years daughters have rights on the property sold

(Querist) 14 September 2010 This query is : Resolved
If 4 transactions happend for aland and first person is having 3 daughters. Will the daughters have rights to claim on the property after 15years.Is there any limit period that daugther dnt have anymore rights if already 4 transaction happened legally. Coz the 4th owner at present is constructing a apartment. Any chances that effect the person who buy that apartment

well it would be difficult for the daugthers to claim after 15 years as the person would succeed on adverse possession also after 12 years..was land put to any use or somehow the onwership was brought to their knowledge or of possession...who was bearing the land revenue all that would be relevant... n yes the nature of ownership of the 1st person througn whom they are claiming or want to claim.. well ur query is too vague...so be specific

I am staying in Banglore karnatak .I planned to buy a flat.
The land where the construction started has 4 transactions. The 1st owner has sold to clebrity layout. remainingg the 3 transaction are perfect.I need home loan to buy the flat then one lawyer(andhra bank) said u need to have signature of the duaghters on saledeed of 1st owner. The builder is saying its already approved by canara and corporation bank. The land is sold 15 years back i cant go and find out the deatils of their daughters and get the signature. Now the builder is saying i have approvals from other banks if u want u can proceed for loan. the second floor of the building is copied prsent 4th owner of the land.I am confused how much safe is to buy that flat.Is thre any chance in future if any 1stwoner daughtercan claims case. What we should i do buy or with draw

your claim may be barred by limitation. It will be a risky proposition.

You can proceed with the matter. Even if the daughters come now by filing the suit, they cannot succeed due to limitation bar. You need not worry.
