Sir, I want to add my mother's last name in my birth certificate. In 10th certificate my mother's name is santosh devi and in my dob certificate it is santosh please suggest me for it..

I am applying for passport so my mother's name is not same in my dob certificate as 10th certificate. Please tell me the solution.

Submit the affidavit wrt name of ur mother name in DOB.

Have you applied for passport and the passport office has raised any objection?

If so, contact passport office for way to proceed as per their procedure.

Yes I have applied for passport. They said about to change my mother's name from santosh to santosh devi as my 10th certificate so now what is the short procedure to change it

File an affidavit before passport officer stating that Santosh and Santosh Devi are one and the same person.

Is it possible to submit a affidavit to passport office. I am from haryana can I submit Delhi's affidavit.
