An unprobated/unregistered will which shows the date 1.9.1989 has been produced in the Court on a plain paper. Although the signature of the testator has been challenged as the same clearly indicated forgery, however, I want to know whether the age can be ascertained about the paper and the signatre by an expert including forensic examination. Secondly, does this sort of will stands valid in the court of law and related judgements delivered by the Higher Courts.

Dear Malashree
The signature as per your statement is indicative of forgery, however, the same has to be proved. The age of the document can be certainly ascertained through forensic examination of the document. You need to make an application before the Hon'ble court for the same. If it is proved that the document is forged, the court will on its own motion take cognizance of the offence and will initiate separate criminal proceedings against the accused.

You may not able to prove that documents age. Because, if he executed that will in the old paper how to resolve it. In market british period papers also avialable. So you can prove that signature of Testator, Font style and etc..
