I have a rental shop in kerala. Agreement is 10 years old. Default of 4 months. Later when rent given owner dint take so rent sent via money order which he he rejected and then filed a case and court notice came to attend the hearing. Next hearing in Dec'2012.
What could be the possible outcome as we want to continue with the rental shop as there is no other source of income for me.
Thanks for the reply...

Thanks for the instant reply...I would like to further know what should be detailed at court while depositing rent in court and should it be with the interest?

you have to engage a lawyer . in your reply mention that you had sent rent by money order . furnish details . state that you are willing to pay rent but landlord is refusing to accept . you dont have tpo pay rent with interest .
your lawyer will do the needful

Mr. Nanda,
Thanks for your reply
lawyer says either deposit with the shop owner's lawyer or pay by challan in court. which is the right one?
Another thing, i m the only bread winner in my family, if i lose this shop then difficult for me and my family to survive. Will this point considered by court?
