wants to know fee for succession certificate

hi,

I want succession certificate for Saving Accounts which was on my parents name, unfortunatley both of them is not alive.
Total amount in saving account in Rs. 427000.

Can u pls. tell me how much i have to pay in court as fees to get succession certificate.

In Delhi Court, East Delhi Karkardoma Court preet Vihar.

You did not mention in which court the same is going to be filed. The court fees differs from one State to another.

Two per centum on the amount or value of any debt or security specified in the certificate under section 8 of the Act, and three per centum on the amount or value of any debt or security to which the certificate is extended under section 10 of the Act.

The amount of a debt is its amount, including interest, on the day on which the inclusion of the debt in the certificate is applied for, so far as such amount can be ascertained.
