1) Legally it is marriage under provision of Special Marriage Act

2) Some state like Maharashtra from last 3-4 months have introduced system by which you can give notice of intend to marriage via online through Inspector general of registration portal

3) After 30 days (notice period) on date allotted groom , bride with two witness on each side should visit sub registrar office and complete formalities in front of sub-registrar personally.

4) Formalities include signing some formal paper , giving photo image , thumb impression. you get certificate ]

5) Cost incurred :) Govt. cost negligible
