Whether compromise decree required registration.

hello, sir,
this is regarding my ancestral property,fact of the case is,my grand father sister filed civil suit againt her sibiling for distributing of properties my grandfather one of defendant, thereafter the andhra pradesh high court, appointed receiver commissioner to submit reports in regard of deceased properties(my great grand father)so receiver commissioner submitted report,so the above court orderd the same report and sanction to my grandfather,admeasureing acre,4-37,guntas. my question is,now my father sibiling they had executed unregistrated agreement of sale, to the third person, wants to implied third party and filed compromise decree,i want to know whether we required to registrate the said compromise decree before filinng it? please advise sir.

if you want to produce in the court then it should be registered then only it has a value

Yes partition decree needs to be registered at least in WB.

The agreement is family settlement which is also need registration under section 17(b) of Indian Registration Act.
