Whether passage is part of rooms or separate?

There are 2 rooms (facing each other) on one side on mezzanine floor and a passage is adjacent to the rooms, whether such passage is considered as part of these rooms or separate portion of the mezzanine floor? What are the provisions in this regard under different acts?

there is fundamental right to ingress and egress in the house. so no one can restrain from using the passage as part of property. Moreover it is not a part of portion even then no one can stop the person from using it.

It seems to be a public pathway for ingress and egress purpose,so it is a common property to be used by all concerned
