Dear Sir My question is Will case under trial ipc 408 has any impact on passport request ?
As passport is a important document not only to travel abroad but as a ID too for Job and business point of view. if a person is working in a travel industry or travel business and require passport but he is having a case under trial IPC 408. What will be the impact for issuing a new passport.

If the police gives adverse report while renewal of passport, passport authority may refuse to reissue passport unless court gives direction to it.

Case u/s 408 will certainly have an impact on the PP renewal.U have to reveal the facts in UR renewal application,which may have adverse effect,hence wait till the disposal of the case.

You should not bother about the impact of pending criminal case against you while applying for passport, you should disclose the facts in the application, the issuance of passport will depend on the verification report of police.
