Will hit and run case a obstacle for govt job?

Sir, I was charged against hit and run a few years back, FIR was filed against me, i have paid the fine and all.Now i got selected in Central govt (Banking industry). Will this case be a problem for me? Will they reject my appointment? How could this effect my career?

After sending your antecedents by your department, police inquire in the matter and if they inform that there was a criminal case against you. in such cases you will be terminated permanently.

Sir, Thank you for your reply.The person whom i met with accident didn't die but suffered from minor injuries and i haven't involved in any other cases.In my case, will it be considered as criminal case or not?

It is a criminal case.

You were charged and paid fine. It can creat problem.

Confirm if with payment of fine the case has been closed.
Obtain all docs by RTI.
Don't conceal the facts in any document that you have signed.

It can be obstacle or cannot be also, as description of your query is deficient of the needed facts.
By the way, hit and run with what consequnces of hitting and the what was the exact judgment in the case?
