"irreconcilable differences" - please elaborate

Dear Seniors

This is my 3rd consecutive post in this forum w.r.t divorce.

My wife and i have decided to go for a divorce by mutual consent despite the fact that she doesnt want to stay with me and im left with no other option.

I have gone through the earlier topics on MCD where most of the seniors have mentioned "irreconcilable differences"

Now that im pretty clear about the procedure that will go on till the divorce is granted, all i wanted to know how am i supposed to justify the irreconcilable differences from my end?

As i know that during the first hearing my statements will be recorded -

- Should i tell the H'ble court of law the actual facts?

- Should i say that im left with no other option but to agree upon my wife's decision?

Please help as my first hearing could be at the end of this month.

Finally the meaning of irreconcilable differences means = lots of conciliations attempts failed. Finally report goes to judge, that conciliations have failed even after several attempts, and there you go, part ways after 6 months.

As you are going for MCD, nothing much to ask or tell, just sign papers and say tata bye bye.  In contested divorce one may state a 40 page allegation list or truth list asking for divorce.

If it is divorce due to mutual consent, i don't think judge would go into details of irreconcilable differences
