Sir/Madam,
this has become an important point of discussion that whether 138 ni act can be treated as
quasi civil and amendment can be allowed because some courts believe but some courts still
deny this facts as CR.P.C. is followed. so please guide me.....

It is criminal case and no amendment allowed. CRPC applicable for the procedure.

thanks for the reply but you might have seen under section 125 of cr.p.c. magistrates/judges allowed amendment and same was upheld by high court even there is cr.p.c. applicable then why not in 138 of n.i. act.....

cheque bounce is offense and case is for punishment , not so for CRPC 125.
