30 years old tenents

hello my problem is i have a ancestor property with 24 tenents living from last 30 years.
actually we have given rooms to poor families as a protection to our house and care taker. eventually our family got seprated and no one stayed there to look after those tenents. No from a small rooms they have renovated and acquired extra land to what they have given.
as no one left to take care of that property those tenenta started paying property tax and acquired electricity and water connection s by help of local corporator.
Now what will be right legal path to take?
