I was indulged in 498A case in May'2010. I was granted BAIL very next day. Case continued for almost 2 years, but no witness was examined nor any statement could be recorded of any party. Meanwhille applicant [my wife] died in September 2012 due to brain hamrege in her native town.
But the case is still going on, other party is not coming despite of various summons issued and case has been transfared in 3 courts due to transfer of Judges.
What has to be done?
Whether any application can be made in court to set off the case and if yes, under which section?
Please guide.
