498a & related case - one time settlement tips

Hi,

As I posted earlier, I am fighting 498a & related cases and we decided to go for one time settlement.

What are the tips to be consider while drafting the agreement. I have a minor kid staying with her and can kid claim in future?

Thanks

1. Make the agreement carefully. She should withdraw/ compound/ quash all cases she filed and all disputes regarding Stridhan, Dowry, Alimony, Maintenance of the lady and child should be finished once and for all.

2. Can kid still claim the maintenance? Yes, unfortunately the kid can claim maintenance even after such agreement on change of circumstances.
