Police officers in India are rarely punished for false implications.

All their actions are protected by a  principle called " Action Taken in Good faith ".

If a police officer has filed a false complaint or charges against an innocent you may file a discharge petition in the concerned court. If you are successful the case ends there. If not you have to contest the case.

You may complain to superiors against the said officer for the false implication. You may be successful.
