Dear All,

Please suggest/advise can pre medical history (abnormal behavior) of 3/4 years before marriage which has been concealed till marriage:

1.can be good defense/weapon against  498a. 

2.Is marriage valid.

YES, IF BY ADDUCING RELEVANT MEDICAL REPORTS WHICH ARE IN YOUR HAND THOSE CAN BE USED IN YOUR DEFENSE UNDER SEC.498. IPC  BUT IF THE PROSECUTION LAWYER IS A PANDIT IN CRIMINAL LAWS AND EVIDENCE ACT  HE CAN REACT IN CONTRARY. TO YOURS.

Pre-marriage adverse mental health related documents can be adduced as evidence from your side to strengthen your defence.
