Dear Sir,
Recently i have written e-mail to management regarding deduction and reduction of my allowance w.e.f. Jan'2016. I found that Company paid me less salary than salary enumerated in Minimum Wages Act. before Dec'2015. But after realized that the minimum wages are less then Company adjusted the same by stopping of Medical Allowance and reduction in Conveyance allowance. When I did enquiry about this Company explained that the total salary is not changed but it adjusted according minimum wages act. (DA+Basic). Is this action of management is legal & justified? Which law give authority to stopping of Medical allowance and reduction in Conveyance allowance without informed me? Kindly give me your expert advice with related case law.
