I am frim Mumbai, Bhandup, we have purchased a flat in 1976 and agreement was prepared on Rs.5/- stamp paper, i have done adjudication of that agreement and i have received a letter from stamp duty office, that i dont have to pay stamp duty and during conveyance i have to pay.
now the amnesty scheme is there, sir can i pay stamp duty now and avail the benefilt of amnesty scheme
as one lawyer is saying that i can not pay stamp duty as the officer is saying that documents between 1970 to 1980 is issue part,
sir pls guide me, if i can avail it or not? and i have to pay stamp duty on my agreement value or todays market value?
pls help me
