Ancestral property

Hi,

I need guidance on the following mentioned property disputes:

My Father has 3 sons ,Including me,Around 20 Years Back i had to leave house and stay seperately in another city due to work.

My Father has total ancestral property of 1 individual house and 1 Plot(Disputed) totaling worth of around Rs 6Cr.

Now when he has planned to distribute his property ,i had been to him for understanding my share,I come to know that he is not willing to give any share in the house.

I need to understand how do i proceed ,are there any legal rights which i can take help from.

Please Help.

If the property is an ancestral property, i.e. if it comes down from your grandfather, you can demand an equal share in the property.  If your share is denied, you can file a suit to claim the same.

I agree to the above suggestion....

if its ur father's self-earned property, u cant say anything. but if he has inherited the property through ur grandparents, then u can claim ur share as its an ancestral property & not a self-earned property of ur father.
