Anexure b for passport

Annexure B is to be signed by the Head of the Department or the Head of the Institution for every Government Department or Institution.

In your case if you teach in a college, the Annexure B will be signed by the Principal of the College. If you teach in a school, the Annexure will be signed by the Principal (if he is a gazetted officer) or by the Secretary, Department of Education (or a designated officer).

Annexure B must be signed by the respective government authorities in your department..say head of your department who can sign in green ink(gazetted officer level). If you produce Annexure B, there is no police verification and you get a passport in a day or two.
