Annulment of marriage

The annulment of marriage application does not have a set time and date when this can be achieved, it purely depends on the facts of the case and whether the court will Grant the annulment or not.

As already opined by the learned friends in their respective posts, it is dependent on case history, facts & evidences.

 

However, if you have such an evidence that the opposite party cannot rebutt or discard and it is very convincing, court would be pleased to grant annulment. Also, please understand, courts generally do not grant annulment of arbitrary grounds and your advocate need to convince the judge about the reasons based on which you have filed for annulment.

 

Also, it is not a choice to file your case in Delhi or Lucknow. Cause of action will define jurisdiction. In my considered view, the place of marriage would be considered as area of jurisdiction and not the place where you lived before or after marriage.
