IAM STAYING IN CHANDIGARH. tHE PROPERT IN TOWN IS GOVERNED BY THE chandigarh estate rules 2007.
i received a notice of building violations fron the Estate office . Orders of sealing were given by the quasi judicial court. I filled and CWP in the H'ble High Court of Punjab and Haryana and obtained orders of deseasling. During arguments the defence lawyer has put up a argument that the writ is not maintanable in the High court because of alternate remedy of appeal with the chief adminstrator.My submittion is that the oreders of sealing were served to me at about 1700 hrs and the sealing was done on the next day at 1000 hrs. I had no time to appeal and matter being urgent i approached the High Court.
please advise course of possible action.
