I have a question regarding bhati Shah Sainya 2023, section 66 of IT act is it applicable from first July and onward for the cases launched before first July or it's applicable for only cases that are launched after first July. For example, if if a crime was committed in last year, whether section 66 of New, new bhati Saudi 2023 will be applicable or not

The law will be applicable for the offences committed in that particular period and the susbequent amendment to law until and unless it has retrospective effect, it will not be applicable.
